Radiology and MRI of Bethlehem brings together the experience and pioneering visions of two of the area’s finest medical imaging practices, Radiology Associates, founded in 1950, and MRI of Bethlehem, founded in 1987.
Originally located at 35 East Elizabeth in Bethlehem across from Moravian Athletic Fields, Radiology Associates was one of the first practices in the Lehigh Valley to privately offer various Fluoroscopic procedures, as well as Mammograms, Ultrasounds and general X-Rays.
In 1987, MRI of Bethlehem introduced the Lehigh Valley’s third MRI at its 95 Highland Drive offices. This was followed by the addition of Ultrasound, Bone Density Measurement and CT services.
While both medical and diagnostic laboratory practices were always guided by the same group of expert Radiologists, a drive to improve efficiency and deliver a higher level of patient care led the two groups to form Radiology and MRI of Bethlehem, Inc.
In order to meet the needs of the growing practice and accommodate the latest imaging technology, the new partnership relocated in the spring of 2002 to the Bethlehem Medical Arts office building at 5325 Northgate Drive.
Today Radiology and MRI of Bethlehem stands as a full service medical, diagnostic imaging center providing the most up-to-date services in MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Radiography, Mammography, Bone Density Measurement and Fluoroscopy. While offering high quality imaging in a convenient private office may seem like a recent trend, our organization has known this is the best way to serve the community for over fifty years. Our experienced Radiologists and staff continue the proud tradition begun in the 1950's.
